## About the Role

Seeking an experienced Security Consultant to provide expert guidance on cloud security, conduct security assessments, and deliver security solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role combines technical expertise with consultative skills to help clients achieve their security objectives.

## Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and provide detailed recommendations

- Design and validate secure AWS architectures tailored to client requirements

- Deliver technical security consulting services and implementation guidance

- Provide expert advice on security trends, threats, and emerging technologies

- Develop security frameworks and best practices for client organizations

## Required Qualifications

### Language & Communication

- Native or business-level English proficiency

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities

- Professional experience in creating and delivering customer presentations

- Demonstrated ability to write clear technical documentation and reports

### Professional Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator and Developer

- Minimum 3 years in a professional security role

- Current hands-on experience in security implementations and assessments

### Programming Skills

- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript

- Proficiency in using coding assistants for development tasks

- Experience with security automation and scripting (Terraform, Python)

### Technical Expertise

- Security architecture and design

- Threat modeling and risk assessment

- Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing

- Security controls and frameworks

### AWS Experience

- EC2, S3, RDS

- Lambda, IAM, VPC

- CloudFormation

### Hands-on Expertise

- Security assessment and remediation

- Cloud security architecture

- Enterprise security solutions (WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM)

- Strong knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)

## Preferred Qualifications

- Fluency in Spanish and/or French

- AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional)

- Industry experience in one or more of:

- Financial services (banking, capital markets, payments, insurance)

- Automotive

- Telecommunications

- Healthcare

- Life sciences

- Energy

- Media & entertainment

- Manufacturing
