About the role

We are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to own and extend an existing Flutter codebase that supports production workflows across iOS and Android. You will work across user experience, state management, device capabilities, service integrations, local persistence, automated testing, and release delivery.

This is a hands-on product engineering role for someone who can understand an established system, make sound architectural decisions, and ship dependable improvements without losing sight of usability, maintainability, or data safety.

What you will work with

• A production Flutter and Dart application with shared delivery across iOS and Android.
• Layered, feature-oriented application architecture with structured state management and dependency injection.
• Camera and media workflows, dynamic user interfaces, authenticated service integrations, and local persistence.
• A quality-focused delivery process that includes automated tests, continuous integration, and staged mobile releases.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end to end: clarify requirements, design the technical approach, implement the experience, test it, and support it through release.
• Extend an established Flutter architecture using clear boundaries between presentation, state management, domain logic, data access, and external services.
• Build responsive, accessible, and localized interfaces that remain understandable across device sizes, operating-system versions, and changing application states.
• Develop reliable camera, image-selection, upload, preview, and file-lifecycle flows, including permission handling, compression, cancellation, retries, and cleanup.
• Create schema-driven forms and dynamic UI flows from server-defined configuration, including nested fields, dependencies, validation, and evolving data models.
• Integrate secure REST and JSON services, multipart uploads, authentication and token flows, generated API models, and well-structured error handling.
• Design resilient data workflows for interrupted connectivity, including local drafts, retry queues, synchronization, idempotency, conflict handling, and recovery from partial failure.
• Present AI-assisted outputs as transparent, reviewable suggestions with clear loading, confidence, correction, and fallback states where appropriate.
• Write and maintain unit, widget, golden, and integration tests; protect critical flows with meaningful coverage and stable test fixtures.
• Improve observability, performance, crash diagnostics, and operational readiness while addressing technical debt in measured, low-risk increments.
• Maintain continuous-integration and release pipelines, mobile signing, environment configuration, and staged distribution to iOS and Android channels.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and quality partners; communicate tradeoffs clearly and keep technical decisions documented.

Preferred qualifications

• Working knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, native mobile tooling, platform channels, and troubleshooting outside the Flutter layer.
• Experience with Open API or similar contract-based code generation and with safely evolving generated models alongside handwritten application code.
• Experience with secure storage, session and token management, privacy-sensitive data, and mobile security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with design systems, generated design tokens, localization workflows, accessibility standards, and visual regression testing.
• Experience with release tooling and continuous-delivery platforms such as Fastlane, Circle CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable systems.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted capabilities while preserving human review, correction paths, graceful degradation, and clear product behavior.
• Experience improving observability through structured logging, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and actionable diagnostics.
